Walk in. Grab your bike. Ride.

Your bikes are ready before you get to the house. Tires set. Chain clean. Shifting crisp. Brakes right. Battery full. Every trip, every bike, and you never lift a finger.

I keep the whole garage at your Northwest Arkansas home race-ready between visits. The only thing you do with a bike here is ride it.

White-glove bike care for vacation homes in Northwest Arkansas

Your time here is for riding

You didn't buy a place here to spend Saturday morning in the garage with a floor pump. Or in line at a bike shop. Or trying to remember when the fork was last serviced.

Every hour spent on the bikes is an hour off the trail. This service is for people who want every one of those hours back.

Things you'll never do again

  • Load a bike in the car to take it to a shop
  • Wait days for a tune-up appointment
  • Pump every tire in the garage before anyone can ride
  • Find a dead e-bike battery on the first morning
  • Ride a bike that's almost right

Every variable, handled

This is priced and run as a concierge service. I manage your bikes the way a race mechanic manages a team's bikes: constantly, and before anything has a chance to go wrong.

  • Shifting tuned as often as it needs it

If a derailleur drifts, it gets fixed now, not at the next scheduled service.

  • Cleaned as often as it needs it

Muddy weekend? The bike is clean and lubed before you come back.

  • No more shop runs

If something needs a shop, a dealer, or the factory, I take it, ship it, pick it up, and put it back on. You never drive a bike anywhere.

  • Tires and sealant

Pressures set for how you ride. Sealant checked and topped up so you don't find out on the trail.

  • Brakes

Pads watched. Bleeds done before the lever goes soft.

  • Drivetrain wear

Chains measured and swapped before they chew through a cassette.

  • Suspension

Service intervals tracked. Lower-leg and air-can work done here.

  • E-bike batteries

Charged for your arrival. Stored properly between trips.

  • Parts

Ordered, stocked, and installed. You approve anything over $40 first.

Hero bikes and secondary bikes

Not every bike in the garage needs race-day attention. You pick which ones do. Most houses have one to three hero bikes, and you can move a bike between tiers any time.

Hero bike

Race-ready, every time you ride it.

The bike you care about most. It gets tuned, cleaned, and checked as often as it needs, not on a calendar.

  • Full tune and adjustment whenever it needs one
  • Drivetrain cleaned and measured for wear
  • Brakes bled and pads replaced before they fade
  • Tires, sealant, and pressures dialed to how you ride
  • Yearly lower-leg and air-can suspension service
  • Factory Fox and RockShox service scheduled and handled

Secondary bike

Ready to ride. Problems handled.

Kids' bikes, guest bikes, cruisers, the backup trail bike. Whoever grabs one gets a bike that's safe, clean, and never flat.

  • Wipe-down and chain lube
  • Tires aired
  • Brakes, shifting, axles, and bolts checked
  • E-bike batteries charged and stored properly
  • Small problems fixed, bigger ones priced for you first

How your number gets set

We start with a walk-through at the house. We go bike by bike, decide which are heroes, and note anything that needs work. Your quote comes from that, in writing.

If the bikes have been sitting for a long time, the first visit is a one-time catch-up, quoted after I see them.

I'm starting with a small number of houses. Founding households get the house fee waived for their first three months.

Other services

Available whether or not you're on a plan. Always priced before I start.

Frame-up builds

A new bike built from the bare frame to your parts list and set up for how you ride. I can help pick and source the parts, too.

Extended storage

For bikes sitting longer than a season. Tires and batteries checked along the way, so nothing comes back flat or dead.

How this works

  1. We meet at the house

A walk-through of the garage and every bike in it.

  2. You pick your heroes

Everything else is secondary or goes into storage.

  3. We agree on a plan

Pricing from the grid and a schedule built around how you use the house.

  4. You walk in and ride

    Every trip, from then on.

Who I am

I'm Tyler. I'm a Marine Corps veteran, a mechanic, and a rider here in Northwest Arkansas. My wife and I also run Bad Moon in Bentonville.

I'm keeping this to a small number of houses on purpose. Every garage I take on gets my full attention.

  • Factory Fox or RockShox service fees and freight
  • Warranty claims on e-bike batteries, motors, or displays (I take them to an authorized dealer)

  • Service outside Northwest Arkansas

Questions

How does this compare to using a bike shop?

Take the 14-bike house from the example above. A standard shop tune-up runs about $140 to $220 per bike, and a full overhaul on a bike you ride hard runs $280 to $450, parts extra. One tune-up on every bike plus an overhaul on the two hero bikes comes to roughly $2,500 to $4,000 a year.

That buys each bike one visit. It also buys you 28 trips to the shop, a week or two without each bike while it waits in the queue, and nobody watching the fleet in between.

This plan for the same house is $5,000 a year. For the difference, every bike is looked after all year, the hero bikes are tuned and cleaned as often as they need it, suspension and battery upkeep is tracked, and you never drive a bike anywhere.

What makes a bike a hero bike?

You decide. It's usually your race bike or the bike you ride most. If you'd notice it being slightly off, it should be a hero.

Can I change which bikes are heroes?

Yes. Move a bike up or down any time and the price adjusts.

Are parts included?

No. Parts are cost plus 25%. Small wear parts under $40 I just handle. Anything more, you approve first.

How often do you come by?

As often as your bikes and your calendar need. We set the schedule together.

What's the commitment?

Plans run for 12 months, with 30 days' notice to cancel.
